Backend / Infrastructure Engineer

About the Role

As WidgetFlow grows, we need someone focused on the backend. Database optimization, API performance, real-time collaboration features, and infrastructure reliability. Help us build a platform that can handle millions of widgets.

Responsibilities

• Optimize database queries and schemas
• Build and maintain API endpoints
• Implement real-time sync and collaboration features
• Monitor and improve platform reliability
• Set up proper logging, monitoring, and alerting

Requirements

• Strong Node.js/TypeScript experience
• PostgreSQL expertise
• Experience with serverless or edge architectures
• Understanding of real-time systems (WebSockets, etc.)

Nice to Have

• Vercel and Neon experience
• Experience scaling SaaS platforms
• Background in collaborative editing systems
