Requirements

What is verified today

  • Operating system: Windows package targets only.
  • Storage: Enough local space for the app, workspace, Trash, and independent backups.
  • AI: Optional. Use Ollama locally or configure a supported provider or Agent.
  • Network: Needed for remote providers, Agents, updates, and support; not for purely local workspace editing.

Exact supported Windows versions and hardware minimums will be measured from the release candidate, not guessed in advance.

Setup preview

The intended first-run path

  1. Download the published Windows installer or portable package when a release appears here.
  2. Launch WidgetFlow and confirm the local workspace location.
  3. Optionally configure Ollama, a provider API key, or a remote Agent in Model Providers and Agents.
  4. Create a snapshot and connect an external backup destination before storing valuable work.

These steps describe the current internal flow and may change before the first public build.

Known limitations

What early users should know

WidgetFlow is pre-release software and may change, fail, or lose data.

Only Windows packaging is currently configured; final minimum hardware and OS versions are not published.

Local AI requirements depend on the Ollama model you select and your own hardware.

Remote AI and Agent features send authorized request data to the provider or endpoint you choose.

Local MCP access must not be exposed to untrusted applications or networks.

Support is currently best-effort and has no response-time or uptime guarantee.

Visual disclosure

Current site visuals are illustrative

The interface cards on this website are labeled product illustrations, not screenshots of a release candidate. Sanitized screenshots will be captured from the final candidate before a public binary is offered. No private workspace data will be used.
